Reduced Dues Program for New Dentists

New Dentists that take advantage of this program pay nothing their first year out of school and then each year pay progressively more, allowing them 5 years before they pay full dues!  This is our way of helping new dentists get off to a good start in their career.

The Greater St. Louis Dental Society is made up of 5 active and involved ​Districts.  By attending these informative meetings, you gain CE from interesting guest speakers, enjoy a nice dinner and have the opportunity to keep up with the latest news in your area as well as interact with your fellow dentists. Many of our members consider these ​District meetings to be invaluable for networking and camaraderie.

New Dentist Committee

The GSLDS New Dentist Committee represents our large and active group of new local dentists.  If you have been out of dental school less than 10 years, be sure to attend these friendly and informative meetings.  You will meet other dentists who are facing the same challenges starting their dental career as you, as well as making lasting friendships.  This welcoming and lively community is always happy to have new comers join their group.

Annual Shred-a-Thon

Get rid of all of those old x-rays and patient records that are taking up space. Our annual shredding event is very popular with our members because it takes the hassle out of disposing of sensitive patient records. Just drive up and drop them off with our on-site shredding trucks. Look for information about this event every spring!

Leadership Opportunities

There are leadership roles available at the local, state and national level of the ADA/MDA/GSLDS tripartite.  These opportunities allow you to grow personally and professionally while contributing to the dental profession. Get involved, you will be glad you did!

The Greater St. Louis Dental Society is known for our great social events. We hold an annual social event in the summer for all of our members that is highly attended and always a great time!  We also have social events for our new dentists and dental students throughout the year.
