Missouri License Renewal

Beginning January 2025, the Missouri Division of Professional Registration and its boards (including the Dental Board) began operating a new online licensure system, MOPRO. This online system is for any kind of license or permit issued by the Division of Professional Registration (for dental professionals, this means dentist and hygienist licenses, EFDA and anesthesia permits, etc.

CE Reporting

The current reporting period for the Missouri Dental Board CDE requirement began on 12/1/24 and ends 11/30/26. It is the responsibility of the dentist to retain proof of continuing education. Of the 50 C.E. hours required for dentists (30 for hygienists), 10 hours (5 for hygienists) may be in management; the remainder must be technical. Any hours acquired beyond the required number may be carried forward into the next time block, not to exceed 25 hours for dentists (15 hours for hygienists).

MO Dental Board CE Broker System Video Tutorial

The Missouri Dental Board has partnered with CE Broker. Beginning with this year’s license renewal, all dentists, dental specialists and dental hygienists will be required to upload their CE and related documentation to the CE Broker system.

We encourage members to review available resources and begin uploading your CE now, well in advance of this November’s licensure renewal. (reporting period ends on 11/30/26)
