Lawmakers reach agreement on next coronavirus relief package

Bill expected to contain provisions that will help dentists

Washington — Following months of discussions, legislators reached an agreement Sunday on a $900 billion relief package aimed at helping the people and businesses devastated by the coronavirus pandemic.

The new relief package is expected to contain many provisions that the ADA has advocated for on behalf of dentistry — including reforms to the Paycheck Protection Program and continued student loan forbearance.

The ADA News will update this story when the bill passes. The Association will also be sending out an email to member dentists with more information on how this legislation affects dentistry.
