Live at SmileCon 2023®, this course with Dr. Setareh Lavasani will discuss the basic principles of 3-D image acquisition, the factors affecting CBCT image quality, and most common CBCT software planes and their applications. She will also cover the voxel size and its effects on final resolution and how to adjust exposure settings to achieve optimal image quality. Essential parts of utilizing the software such as adjusting brightness, contrast, histogram, drawing the panoramic curve, creating cross sections, marking the mandibular nerve and more will be explained.
